START 7/13 CHATTER
Steve Basile

July 13, 2012 – 7:25 pm
Mazzoni had an interesting game for Bing today. 7 innings no runs 4 hits no walks and only one strike out. 6 grounds out to 10 fly outs. starting to wonder when the Ks will come with this guy considering he’s really getting enough groundouts. maybe the scouts were right about his fastball being too straight.
Steve Basile

July 13, 2012 – 7:25 pm
really not getting**

Bing won the game 2-0 thanks to a two run triple from Flores. This guy continues to rake. He might force himself onto the team in about a year

its a rare showing from kirk i wouldnt depend on him everyday in center field. im not too hot on valdespin either
Steve Basile

July 13, 2012 – 10:17 pm

Steve Basile

July 13, 2012 – 10:19 pm
i hope im wrong about em both metsense but i just see two people who strike out way too much
Metsense

July 13, 2012 – 10:21 pm
Yes, for sure. Kirk could be a 4th OF and Valdespin a super sub at the least. Den Decker also k’s alot but I have a good feeling about him.
Chris F

July 13, 2012 – 10:23 pm
Defensively for sure
Steve Basile

July 13, 2012 – 10:23 pm
kirk would be a nice 4th OF and den dekker i see as a 4th OF as well. he strikes out a ton too, but i’m still waiting to see if he turns it around in buffalo. If he can hit .250 with all his extra base power and his GG defense he could start in CF for the mets until nimmo is ready

It’s 2012 though and we need help now without giving away the ranch. Broxton, Street or K Rod on a salary dump with a second tier prospect and Cedeno to any of the contenders that are lacking at SS for a veteran reliever.
