Cory VaughnCory Vaughn: .244/.320/.400, Vaughn is averaging over a strikeout per game, which is pretty much par for the course.  When he hits the ball, he does seem to get on base more often than not and he still displays solid power.  He’s not doing much to up his stock for 2014 but he basically has one year left to prove he’s worth the Met’s time.

Aderlin Rodriguez: .205/.225/.256, He’s done almost nothing to help himself.  He’s looking pretty lost out there at present.

Cam Maron: .192/.400/.269, Maron is not hitting much.  Being below the Mendoza line is never a good thing.  The one caveat is that with a few good games Maron’s numbers would vastly improve.  In 9 games he has 9 walks and only 5 strikeouts.  I still like Maron as the future battery partner of either d’Arnaud or Plawecki (if only because he’s a lefty) but I’d like to see him getting some more contact.

Hansel Robles: 3 G, 8.0 IP, 3.38 ERA, Robles is doing enough to get by but I want to see him getting at least 7.0 K/9 by the end of the Winter Leagues and that isn’t yet in the bag.

Cody Satterwhite: 6 G, 6.0 IP, 0.00 ERA, Satterwhite is doing statistically well and his peripheral numbers are good but I don’t really think this guy factors strongly into the Met’s future.

Chasen Bradford: 5G, 5.1 IP, 0.00 ERA, Bradford is a future reliever and could have a shot with the 2014 Mets at some point.  He may only have 3 strikeouts in the Fall League but he has also only given up 2 hits and 1 walk.  It’s 5.1 innings so we won’t blow things too far out of proportion.

Jeurys Familia: 4 G, 5.0 IP, 7.20 ERA, Don’t be too upset by Familia’s high ERA.  He had a very bad outing on October 17th and that accounts for most of it.  On the plus side he has 7 strikeouts and only 4 hits in his 5.0 innings. 3 walks in the same time is less good.  Familia still factors to play a major role in the 2014 bullpen.

A pretty unimpressive AFL group. Any ideas why Puello wasn’t sent there?

Puello played in the Arizona Fall League last year. I think teams generally shy away from sending a player in multiple years. He’s in the Dominican Winter League this year.

        Beat me to it.

Really the only name is Familia who is there more as rehab time after an injury plagued season.

I’m pleased with Cam Maron’s eye and know he CAN hit for contact as well.
