Thanksgiving3One day is there of the season
Termed Thanksgiving day,
Celebrated part in maybe,
Part as yesterday.

Neither Alderson nor Wilpon,
I do disrespect or praise;
Seems it, to my wayward thinking,
Unfair in its ways.

Have we had no rays of sunshine,
To hang our hats upon,
Not or nary satisfactions
Where was once our dreams bygone?

Not to mention, that we need not,
Remember Jason Bay,–
And as such, we may resoundly,
Cheer this Thanksgiving day.

Stolen in large part from Emily Dickinson.  Happy Thanksgiving!

The poem is very nice, but It’s too easy to make Jason Bay the whipping boy for all that ails the Mets.
More importantly, what will your literary bent lead you to in concocting a leftover turkey sandwich?

As a follower of Higher Sandwich Logic you will find out on Friday

I am thankful for an intelligent, well written blog like Perspective 360. Thanks to Brian and all the staff writers.
Happy Thanksgiving to the staff and all my posting and chatting friends.
