Before Friday’s game against the Braves, Mets skipper Terry Collins had this to say about Atlanta Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman:

That stinkin’ first baseman is dangerous. We haven’t got him out in 4 years.

The 25-year-old Freeman is hitting a sporty .325/.396/.580 against Met pitching over the past three seasons.

I love Freddie Freeman, I just hate that he plays for the Braves. I think he’s rather underrated throughout the NL.
