“From the beginning of this season, actually a little bit into spring training, I’ve been working with our pitching coach, Glenn Abbott,” Oswalt said. “We just made a couple of mechanical adjustments. I’m more direct to home plate. I used to throw a little bit across my body, but now I’m more direct, and it simplified my windup, and helped and translated into the game. And just getting older and stronger, it’s just kind of all come together now.”
