If you’re like me, you’re a sucker for the 1971 All-Star game, the one Reggie Jackson hit the monster home run and many other future Hall of Famers participated. While looking for something else, a video of all of the home runs in that game popped up. The video is great! But beware the sound quality stinks.
I went looking for a better sounding video and found this one. The beginning is Curt Gowdy talking about HR hitters but the end shows the ’71 footage.
I watched the 71 all star game and vividly remember Reggie hitting the home run off of the roof in Detroit.
