I was today years old when I learned that Statcast had brief videos of every plate appearance. This is fantastic for the current year but they have previous years, too, dating back to 2018. Not only that, they have both the home and away broadcast available to view. So, in this time when we’re worried about the offense, let’s go back and see the first MLB hits for each hitter on the current Mets during the Statcast video era.
