Seeing Nolan Ryan on television all of the time these days and he’s immediately thought of as part of the Rangers. But Ryan spent five or more years with four different clubs, pitching 100 games or more with each of them.

In the history of MLB, only 211 players have played 2,000 or more games in their career. It’s a major accomplishment and the list is chock full of Hall of Famers and fan favorites.

One former Met who is on this list holds the distinction of being the only player to play 500 games for four different teams. Was it:

    And our answer is … E) Rusty Staub. He played 942 games with the Mets, 833 with the Astros, 549 with the Tigers and 518 with the Expos.
