“Those are the moments that make the entire act of being a fan perfectly rational. People who aren’t even into sports get interested when a city galvanizes around a team, because the allure of being part of something communal is so alluring. That commonality, feeling connected to others; that’s why being a sports fan is so great. We don’t root for laundry; we root for shared experiences with our family, friends, and neighbors, and the laundry is just the vehicle that gets us there.”

“That commonality, feeling connected to others; that’s why being a fan *of Mets 360*is so great.”
Living far from other fans but still being part of the passion through this blog has fulfilled a void in my life. The 360 community is intelligent and respectful. It is great to get together in Chatter with this community, cheering and discussing the Mets. The articles are well thought out and enlightening. The comments are well thought out and add another perspective. Thanks to everyone associated to this site, it is appreciated.
