In a move that caught most everyone by surprise, the Mets announced that Matt Harvey will make his second start since returning from the disabled list on short rest, going Wednesday agaisnt the Phillies after last pitching Saturday against the Astros.

Santana,Harvey,Matz and now Harvey again. A team based on pitching needs to take care of them. A team based on pitching needs to have a strong defense up the middle. A team going nowhere this year has no business pushing pitchers.

For it: He’s only going to throw about two or three innings at most anyway, why not put him in the mound rather than a bullpen session?
