The 2018 Yankees will be a powerful team, but sadly my math failed me, and I have gone over budget.
Having a catcher as a top offensive player is always worrisome, so I traded Gary Sanchez as part of a package to get Giancarlo Stanton. I got Dee Gordon in the deal as well as Brad Ziegler.

So who’s your 4th outfielder? Gardner? Ellsbury? Doesn’t work. You’re tying up too much money for a 4th outfielder. Robertson at 13 million is a pretty tough pill to swallow. I understand his importance but you should try to find a cheaper solution and apply that money elsewhere. So you have the potential of saving 20+ million on your 2018 payroll.
