There were 14 players on the 2018 Mets to bat at least 50 times with RISP. Jay Bruce and Devin Mesoraco tied for the team lead with a 1.010 OPS in these situations. The three players with the lowest marks were Jose Reyes (.595), Austin Jackson (.680) and Wilmer Flores (.683)

Mets’ batters in 2018 had the 7th most strikeouts and 12th “best” OBS as a team in the NL.
The Mets tallied approximately 6200 Plate appearances last year… Jose Bautista had 302 of them…Reyes had 251. Together, they represent almost 10% of the Plate Appearances!!! Add Austin Jackson and Adrian Gonzalez with another 400 plate appearances combined…you’re pushing almost 1000 plate appearances— over 15% of their total from Guys who “Cannot”!
