Last Friday while attending a New York Mets game at Citi Field versus the Los Angeles Dodgers, I got the privilege of going in the Hyundai Club there. Through a friend of mine, who graciously gave me his season tickets to that game, I had access to the club as well.

The Hyundai Club is located in the field level section on the first base and third base side. I was on the third base side. The club was like no other. Especially the food there, which was buffet style and all of it was free of charge. Last Friday, the food options were corned beef, fried pollack, mashed potatoes, Italian sausage, ravioli and hot carrots. From what I hear, the food options are different every game.

There was also a separate section for salad and also another section with nachos, hot dogs and slider burgers as well. The drinks were also free, with water, soda and other non-alcoholic beverages. There was also an open bar, although you have to pay for the alcoholic beverages there.

Starting in the sixth inning, the club also provided desserts, like ice cream, cookies, brownies and other goodies.

The club had plenty of tables to sit and eat, and there were sofas as well to lounge in. There were multiple television screens where you can watch the game at the club, and also private restrooms where you don’t have to wait in line.

Finally, the seats were at field level and very close to the field. It was right behind the visiting team’s dugout, but you can take a good peek at the Mets dugout by the first base side. Seeing the players on the field up close, was amazing to see.

Al in all, the Hyundai Club was an amazing experience and one of the best experiences you can ever have at a ball game or any sporting event. From the buffet style food and on to the field level view from the seats, not a lot of things can beat that.

Glad you got to experience this!

I remember way back when getting Mets seats that had Diamond Club tickets included but we never went. My guess is if a 12 year old tried to get in back then they would have kicked me out of the stadium completely.

Perhaps in the next life, instead of being ruggedly handsome, I’ll reincarnate as a rich ugly guy who has tickets to things like the Hyundai Club. A boy can dream
