What a retarded lineup by Dusty Baker,.292 OBP leadoff batter followed by .298 number 2 hitter who has struck out 200+ times in a season.Somehow it works.
Seriously, does the guy even look at stats?
6 guys down on 16 pitches.Great job guys!
Ken Davidoff of The New York Post says that the Shoppach acquisition is an encouraging pickup because it shows the Mets are willing to take on money at midseason, something they haven’t done in recent years.
Mets GM Sandy Alderson isn’t sure how much money he’ll have to spend on his roster this offseason, reports Brian Costa of The Wall Street Journal. He said he also has yet to think about extending manager Terry Collins, who is under contract through next season.
I keep saying, every time TC does it.I ABSOLUTELY HATE Murphy batting 3rd.
Well, looks like another loss. The way the Met offense is going they needed Dickey at his best, didn’t get it.
The reason Im here rather than in the chat?It just doesn’t work well for me.

Making another guy having a bad year look like Cy Young.
Met postgame “the long ball did Dickey in”.Yeah, not helped by an “offense” that pushed across one run on a GBDP in the whole game.Pathetic.
