This is the sixth year that I’ve gotten together for a boys weekend in a cabin in Boone, which is about 2 1/2 hours from me. I wrote a piece Thursday morning before I left, with the plan of doing recaps and quick hitters while out of town. No game for the Mets on Thursday. When I checked me email Friday morning, there was a note that there was a “critical error” with the site. I could access the page on the front end – which is what everyone sees when they type in mets360.com
But, I could not access the back end of the site, which is where articles get posted. A call to the hosting site about the problem got me nowhere, as they asked for a large sum of money to fix the problem. I thought there was a way for me to back door my way into the account but I needed to be on my main laptop from home to attempt it.
When I got home earlier this evening, my back door attempt was unsuccessful. Ended up using the online chat assistant and was able to fix the issue in 10 minutes for free. I regret that this happened at all and I especially regret that it happened while I was out of town. My apologies for the technical issues the site experienced this weekend. But it looks like we are back in business now.
Really Brian? I’m glad you had a good time but I thought the whole issue was having nothing nice to say about the way the Mets were just laying down game after game, so you didn’t say anything at all.
I don’t care about the win today. To me the critical error that happened this weekend is that Alonso got hit and no one backed him up. What a disgrace! This team doesn’t have the will to fight through adversity because this team doesn’t have any mental strength. Just pansies that seem to be on Xanax.
I hope you had a great weekend nonetheless
